Staged release

Identical facts.
Released as they progress.

Set your stages once. Move a party forward and the next tier of documents unlocks for them, in the room, in downloads and in what the room's AI will answer.

See where everyone is

Every party,
at a glance.

Each investor or buyer sits at a stage, with a milestone that tracks the deal itself. Reach a milestone that usually unlocks the next stage and RoundRoom offers the move, telling you exactly what they'll gain.

  • Milestones: NDA, management call, offer, LOI, signed
  • Moving a party shows what it releases before you confirm
  • Withdrawn parties fall back automatically

Safe by construction

Nothing released
before its time.

Fail-closed defaults
A new file in a staged room is released at the final stage until you choose otherwise.
Enforced everywhere
The file list, previews, downloads, page tracking and the room's AI all respect each viewer's stage.
No teasing
Sections with nothing released yet are hidden, not shown as locked.
Links with a stage
Open links can carry their own stage, for teasers or a wider first look.
Release schedule
A schedule of what unlocks at each stage, generated from your stages and kept in sync.
New since last visit
Parties see what's been added or updated since they last looked.

Questions

Asked often.

Can I rename or add stages?+

Yes. Stages are yours to rename, reorder, add or remove. Deleting a stage never releases anything earlier: its documents move to the next stage.

What happens to a public Q&A answer?+

It's shared only with parties at the asker's stage or later, since the answer may contain later-stage information.

Does this work for fundraising too?+

Yes. A fundraise typically runs first look, diligence and confirmatory stages; pre-seed and seed rounds start with two.
